Eggenfellner's aircraft project

Eggenfellner seems to be building a new aircraft type:

Interesting design choice - flying wing, no tail. Sounds like no flaps on this machine for increasing Clmax.

I read recently about the benefits of delta wings as used on the Mirages etc. I guess a lower speed application can't be ruled out?
